By accessing or using Mizō ("the app") at mizo.cooking, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Description of Service

Mizō is a meal planning application that lets you create recipes, plan meals, manage shopping lists, sync with Google Calendar, estimate nutritional information, and collaborate with household members. The service is provided "as is."

Account & Authentication

You sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate others.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Use automated tools to scrape or overload the service
• Upload malicious content

Your Content

You retain ownership of the recipes, meal plans, and other content you create in Mizō. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as needed to provide the service. When you share content with household members, they can view and interact with it.

AI-Generated Nutrition Estimates

Nutritional information is estimated using AI and should be treated as approximate only. It is not a substitute for professional dietary advice. We make no guarantees about the accuracy of nutrition estimates. Consult a healthcare professional for dietary decisions.

Third-Party Services

The app integrates with Google (authentication, calendar), Instacart (shopping links), and AI services (nutrition estimation, recipe scanning). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or changes.

Availability & Modifications

We strive to keep Mizō available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mizō and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, missed meals, or reliance on nutritional estimates.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. You may stop using the app at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases, but you may request deletion of your data per our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. We will update the "last updated" date above.
